Cheers to the New Year: Best Breweries in North Seattle
Here in the Pacific Northwest, we are known for a handful of defining features. Our beautiful, lush evergreen trees, our love for coffee, and of course, our breweries and taprooms. Whether it be IPA or a crisp cider made with Washington grown apples, we are known to have delicious local beer and lots of breweries to enjoy it at! So today we’re highlighting some of Seattle’s best breweries that are just 10 minutes (or less) from Cooper Apartments.
Lantern Brewing
Who would have imagined we’d be enjoying some of our favorite local beer on a patio in the middle of January? Things are a little different these days, but Lantern Brewing offers covered outdoor dining, equipped with overhead heaters and plenty of tasty seasonal brews for beer lovers to enjoy. And if your appetite is up for it, Lantern Brewing also has rotating food trucks that visit the brewery to serve up tasty bites while you raise a glass. Located only 7 minutes from Cooper Apartments, Lantern Brewing is our closest brewery neighbor!
Hellbent Brewing Company
Are you hellbent on supporting small businesses? How about hazy IPAs? Then Hellbent Brewing Company is just the place for you! This local brewery is Brewers Association Independent Craft Certified and has an impressive draft list that offers a variety of 15 craft beers, ciders, and even house-made hard seltzers! Similar to Lantern Brewing, Hellbent Brewing also has daily food trucks bringing in everything from Smoke Stack BBQ to Buddah Brothers and even pizza!
Elliott Bay Public House & Brewery
If you’re in the mood for brewery-hopping, Elliott Bay Public House & Brewery is only a couple of minutes up the street from Hellbent Brewing Company! Elliott Bay is a family-owned brewery with three locations in the surrounding Seattle area, one of which is just 10 minutes from Cooper Apartments. And since we all know beer making is a true art, we love knowing that Elliott Bay offers organic, handcrafted ales in their brewpubs. Whether you’re in the mood for their smooth “Organic Gateway Amber” or their “Organic Demolition Ale” they’ve got something for all beer lovers. Even better, this local brewery has a full-stack menu with tons of options! They really do it all, and do it well.
Snapshot Brewing
Snapshot Brewing is a go-to spot for those who love deliciously crafted, local beer, but also enjoy wine and tacos. With a bit of a smaller tap list (but equally impressive beers) Snapshot leans towards quality over quantity. Known to be dog friendly, Snapshot is currently offering warm outdoor seating for Seattle residents to enjoy their favorite locally made beer even on a chilly January evening outside.
